Moticont launches new miniature linear voice coil servo motors

They are ideal for: Haptic feedback, dispensing, work holding and clamping, assembly, testing, wafer handling, animation, dynamic vibration absorption, scanners, and laser beam steering and filtering.

Brushless LVCM series Linear Motors from Moticont feature: High acceleration/deceleration, low inertia, smooth motion, high speed, resulting in high throughput. These linear servo motors are clean, quiet, and as true DC Servo Motors have very high accuracy and repeatability when operated in a closed servo position loop.

Only 30.2 mm (1.19 in) long at mid-stroke, the LVCM-013-019-02M (Metric version) Linear Voice Coil Motor has an M3X0.50 threaded mounting hole on the center on the housing and coil ends, and the LVCM-013-019-02 (Imperial version) has 4-40 UNC-2B threaded holes on center for easy integration of these linear servo motors into a new or existing application. Control electronics such as single and multi-axis Servo Controllers and Linear Encoders are also available for both motors.
