Disaster relief center at Bristol Motor Speedway in need of volunteers, cold weather gear

Oct 15, 2024

Bristol Motor Speedway is serving as the Northeast Tennessee Disaster Relief Center, coordinating donations and delivering them to local communities.

Crews there say they need winter clothes, heaters, and propane as the weather cools.

The biggest need, however, is for more volunteers.

The relief center needs more people to work in the call center, coordinating shipments, sorting items onto pallets, and loading vehicles.

Four hour shifts are available at the disaster relief center.
